Our speakers are Dr Neil Anthony-Pillai and Mr Shantha Ruban. Successful tech entrepreneurs in the UK, Shantha and Neil are the driving force behind UNICOM TIC. TIC = Training and Innovation Centre.
Fully funded from the UK, TIC offers 100% scholarships to 100 students. Dr Neil will be based in Jaffna for several months to enxure the smooth running of this new venture.
The purpose of Unicom TIC, in its own words is, “to inspire, empower, and produce employable Sri Lanka’s next generation of digital innovators. We aim to provide equal opportunities and skills to individuals, regardless of their background, enabling them to thrive in the ever-evolving digital landscape.”
